Ramping up with JavaScript

Lately I’m immersed in reading JavaScript books and am in-progress developing a Meteor app while going through the Discover Meteor book. It’s one of the cleanest, most well-designed development books I’ve come across in a while. I’ll blog more about my experiences soon. Coming from a - mostly back-end/jQuery/some Ruby/a good amount of PHP - background, JS is a breath of fresh air.
