As a UI engineer on the CARE Team, I helped develop & maintain LinkedIn’s Help Center, Customer Support Chat and In-Product Help products. That included development in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Ember.js, and Java/Scala.
We worked with partner teams - from content authors and knowledge management to CRM engineering to LinkedIn’s data science team - to deliver a seamless help experience for LinkedIn members.
Below are a handful of the many projects I had the privilege of working on with the CARE Team.
LinkedIn’s customer support chat (Chat bot and human-agent chat) resided in LinkedIn’s Help Center as well as other LinkedIn products like Recruiter and Sales Navigator.
Migrated Help Center’s design system to our Flagship’s system to support dark mode.
Expanded localization for Help Center to 10 additional languages as part of an enterprise-wide effort to extend language support for all LinkedIn’s flagship products. Collaborated with l10n and i18n.
Improved accessibility of In-Product Help widget to address keyboard operability and reflow.
